Comment on Trump on Twitter, Tweet and Facebook by Sandra Collins Fri, 22 Jul 2016 20:05:25 +0000 What a wonderful display of the love and respect with all your family members! We actually watched the entire available coverage of the Convention, and were growing more hopeful and pleased by the hour.

Just a suggestion about Hillary: She only bad mouths Trump because she doesn’t have anything in her past to brag about. All she has are failures. She is a character assentor via lies and gossip, and can legitimately claim nothing to show she is even for America!

Like my bumper sticker says (includes a photo of HELLer (not misspelled), it reads “Life is a bitch. Don’t elect one!”

Keep up the class act, Mr. Trump! You outshine her just by standing there.

Blessings upon you,

Language barrier. What if it was me or you we’d have been arrested long ago whether we had a language barrier. Unacceptable excuse by the Police Dept.

Different laws for refugees. Life will never be the same

Comment on About this Site by bill Mon, 29 Feb 2016 15:37:37 +0000 in Bothell Washington a new McMinnimon’s has built a ‘shrine’ to Patty Murray in the Anderson School House. Should we be lighting candles at the alter of this shrine when it comes to gun rights and public land access?

JUNE 4, 2015
Mrs. MURRAY introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources
To designate and expand wilderness areas in Olympic National Forest in the State of Washington, and to designate certain rivers in Olympic National Forest and Olympic National Park as wild and scenic rivers, and for other purposes.
(C) clean water for local communities that rely on the Olympic National Forest as the source for clean and safe drinking water;
(7) private property rights are central to the United States and the economy of the United States, and it shall be the policy of the United States to encourage, support, and promote the private ownership of property to ensure that the constitutional and other legal rights of private property owners are not abridged by the Federal Government;
Senator Patty Murray supported the following bill to further remove private land ownership from private property owners?
This Bill identifies Lake Quinault as a main target to remove land from private ownership.
What is the driving force behind the need of government to eliminate private property at Lake Quinault?
Is it the Quinault Tribe?
Is it the Olympic National Park?
Is it the aesthetic view from the south shore of Lake Quinault?

Among the lumps of coal — riders attached to the omnibus spending bill that Congress passed and President Obama signed last week — were a few diamonds, including the reauthorization of the Land and Water Conservation Fund that expired for the first time in its 50-year history at the end of September.

, Democratic Sens. Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell, the state’s Democratic representatives and Republican Rep. Dave Reichert — but the program will run again for at least three years and received $450 million for 2016, a boost over its 2015 funding but still half of its intended budget of $900 million.

In Washington state the program can now distribute nearly $10 million in funding that will fill in gaps along the Pacific Crest Trail to improve safety and public access; protect working forests near Mount St. Helens; protect watershed along the Yakima River to ensure clean water for farms, fisheries and communities; acquire property to protect fisheries and water quality near Lake Quinault in the Olympic National Park; and purchase 165 acres of historic farmland at Ebey’s Landing National Historic Reservation on Whidbey Island.
The Lake Quinault Community has been in existence since 1888. The land has been taken care of by the landowners. Lake Quinault has not been polluted by the non-tribal residents living around Lake Quinault.
Fishing has been controlled by the Quinault Indian Nation. Salmon in the Lower Quinault River and Lake Quinault are only harvested by the Quinault Indian Nation. Any reduced fish in the fishery is not due to taking by non-tribal people or habitat.
Private property owners supply Tax dollars for schools and general government expenses. Work for local contractors in repairs of land, income for local business, misc. things that are done in a community.
To remove land from private ownership is the death of the community.
Senator Murray definitely supports death to the Lake Quinault Community and increased taxes on every other land owner in Grays Harbor County.
Senator Murray has received political donations from the Quinault Indian Nation almost every year she has held the office of Senator.
Clean water is another claim in the wild Olympics bill. The allowance of fish rearing pens in Lake Quinault is the biggest polluter to the lake. Senator Murray supports the Quinault Indian Nation in all aspects.
It is time to elect someone to the position of Senator that actually remembers, there are other people in the State of Washington, besides Indian Tribes.
I think Chris Vance is a good option. Everyone should take a look at what Chris Vance stands for.

Comment on SMP Non-conforming – What is Your Loss? by Barbara Blowers Sun, 14 Feb 2016 19:38:50 +0000 Please look for a card from me about Jefferson County’s lawsuit against Jefferson County and DOE regarding our horrible shoreline plan. I hope to get people in other counties to help in our effort; we are now about to be before the state Court of Appeals — and the next step will be the state Supreme Court. I believe we have a very strong chance of winning — and we know it will also affect all of you in Clallam County.
