THEY ARE THE GOVERNMENT’S BUREAUCRATS THAT INSTILLED FEAR IN THEIR OWN CITIZENS.

THE PROGRESSIVE BUREAUCRATS, in WA DC, in Clallam County, WA State, Dept. of Ecology (DOE) and their globalist entourage etal. Paid, environmentalists’ Facilitators, including the United Nations Agenda.

When the fearful citizens came forward  on Jan 26, 2011

    I said something.

“When American citizen fear what their own government  is going to do to them, that is unacceptable to me.”

At this point in time, Oct 17, 2017 why bother with the FEAR the Clallam County SMP Update caused, and became a matter of public record on Jan 26, 2011?

SUBJECT: PROPOSED CLALLAM COUNTY SHORELINE MASTER PROGRAM (SMP)

    INTERESTED PARTIES,

You are receiving this notice because you are on the County’s Shoreline Master Program (SMP) Update email notification list. The County Planning Commission recommended to the Clallam County Board of Commissioners a Draft SMP (September 2017) to update and replace: (1) the existing 1976 SMP (last amended 1992); and (2) procedures for administration (e.g., permit process) of the SMP in Chapter 35.01, Shoreline Management, of the Clallam County Code (CCC).

PUBLIC HEARING:  A public hearing on the recommended SMP before the Clallam County Board of Commissioners is scheduled for December 12, 2017 at 10:30 a.m., or as soon thereafter as possible in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room of the Clallam County Courthouse, 223 East 4th Street, Room 160, Port Angeles, Washington. All persons wishing to comment are welcome to either submit their written comments before the hearing is commenced or present written and/or oral comments in person during the public hearing. Written comments should be sent to the Clallam County Board of Commissioners, 223 East 4th Street, Suite 4, Port Angeles, WA 98362-3015, or emailed to:  SMP@co.clallam.wa.us

REGIONAL PUBLIC FORUMS:  Prior to the public hearing, the County Dept. of Community Development will host 4 public forums to provide information on the SMP:

SUMMARY:  The SMP addresses compliance with the state Shoreline Management Act (SMA), RCW 90.58, and state SMP Update Guidelines (WAC 173-26).  It includes goals and policies, regulations for new development and uses, and administrative procedures (e.g., permit process).

AREAS SUBJECT TO SMP:  The SMP applies to all marine waters, reaches of rivers and streams where the mean annual flow is more than 20 cubic feet per second, and lakes and reservoirs 20 acres or greater in size that are under the jurisdiction of Clallam County and to lands adjacent to these water bodies (together with lands underlying them) extending landward 200 feet in all directions from the ordinary high water mark; floodways and contiguous floodplain areas landward 200 feet from such floodways; and associated wetlands and river deltas.  To consolidate regulations, the proposed SMP also includes the full extent of the mapped 100-year floodplain and land necessary for buffers to protect critical areas as defined in RCW 36.70A that are overlapping or otherwise coincident with the shoreline jurisdiction as allowed pursuant to RCW 90.58.030(2)(d)(i,ii). The City of Forks is also considering the SMP for rivers inside the city limits. Maps showing the approximate lateral extent of the shoreline jurisdiction and proposed shoreline environmental designations are found in Exhibit A-Shoreline Maps of the proposed SMP.

SMP DOCUMENTS AND INFORMATION: The Draft SMP—Planning Commission Recommendation (September 2017) is available for review at the Department of Community Development in the Clallam County Courthouse and on the County‘s SMP Update web page at:  http://www.clallam.net/LandUse/SMP.html

The existing 1976 SMP (last amended 1992) and related administrative procedures in Chapter 35.01 CCC, Shoreline Management; supporting SMP Update documents including, but not limited to Shoreline Inventory and Characterization Reports, Shoreline Restoration Plan, Cumulative Impacts Analysis and No Net Loss Report, and Consistency Review Report; and other information are also available at the Department and on the County SMP Update website.  For questions, contact the Department at 360-417-2420.

  • SMP Update Concerns to Commissioners

Oct 13, 2017 You, the elected Commissioners are now, at this late date, concerned about the Public Participation Strategy for the 2017 Clallam County SMP Update.

You are planning open meetings, asking for public comments, and yes, you are planning the date for a public forum.

    ————————————————————————

Just noting, 2010: The Clallam County Board of Commissioner’s expects to adopt a final SMP-Update Public Participation Strategy extended to March 16, 2010 @ 10 a.m. at the Board of Clallam County Commissioners Regular Meeting, 223 East 4th Street, Room 160, Port Angeles, Washington.

Dec 5, 2009. the FIRST  public comment on the SMP Update was submitted and posted.

Jan 26, 2011  The  SMP  Public participation strategy? The first, by invitation only SMP Update meeting was held  by  ESA Adolfson’s  paid, facilitators Margaret Clancy and Jim Kramer.

Not one of  Clallam County’s elected representatives bothered to attended this meeting. Not, Commissioners’, Tharanger, Chapman, Doherty or DCD director Miller. It was a bureaucrats meeting.

What you, the elected, don’t know, have been denied access to by bureaucrats,  about SMP Update  600 plus public comments can hurt all Clallam County citizens.

WHEREAS the nature of amendments to the plan as might be adopted by the Clallam County Board of Commissioners mayor may not adequately protect the quality of local waters from harmful development; and

Bureaucrats created the final Clallam County Shoreline 2017 SMP Draft Update.

Oct 13, 2017 I am just one concerned vested stakeholder of private shoreline property in Clallam County WA.

However, what happens to one of us, on the Clallam County Shoreline Update (SMP) collectively happens to all 3000 of us.

The SMP ball is now in your court. and just asking?  have you, the elected collectively, or as  an individual elected official, taken the time (due diligence) to visit and read the SMP public court of opinion,600 plus comments on the Clallam County WA SMP Update?

What happened to the online 600 plus SMP Update Public Comments? You, the elected, are the now, the ultimate decision maker. Have the SMP Public comments of private property owners been taken into consideration by you as a Clallam County Commissioners in the final stages of SMP Update?

     —————————————————————–

Part one: The history of us, the collective 3000? What happened to us?

Jan 26, 2011, I was a concerned vested stakeholder of private shoreline property.

I was one of  thirty (30) selected individuals, to be invited to attend the first Clallam County Shoreline Management Plan Update  (SMP) meeting.

The meeting was presented by  ESA Adolfson’s  paid facilitators , Margaret Clancy and Jim Kramer.

In spite of the fact that it was a  private public  meeting, by invitation only, sixty (60) concerned citizens showed up and packed the room.

Not one of  Clallam County’s elected representatives bothered to attended this meeting.

Not, Commissioners’, Tharanger, Chapman, Doherty or DCD director Miller. It was a bureaucrats meeting.

When I complained about it at a commissioners public meeting, after the meeting Commissioner Chapman insulted me, and said if I didn’t like the way things were going I should sign up for the SMP Update Citizens Advisory Committee.

I did, I was appointed by DCD Miller.

Cathy Lear said I must read everything. I did and that was when I started making Public SMP Update Comments.

I am concerned with, the comment numbers with no comments? The fact that it took me 12 hours to compile the following information?

Unfortunately the links 2009-2012 SMP public comments  are not  linked to the SMP Update

Not one of Clallam County elected representative from 2011 is still in office.

Please note, there is only one county employee, Steve Gray, still employed by Clallam County that is still rewriting and revising the SMP Update. Unless? County employee Cathy Lear is representing someone?

And, Steve is still being directed  by the ESA Adolfson  paid consultant, facilitator  Margret Clancy.

Just saying, Margaret Clancy is not legally responsible for whatever content she and Steve decide to put into the SMP Update.

Just asking? Have Clallam County elected representatives sought or received any legal counsel?

    Am I concerned? YOU BET…

ARE YOU CONCERNED? Read the 2009-2012 comments, go find and read the 600 plus SMP public comments,. You, the elected, not bureaucrats, are responsible for the fate of Clallam County, you are the ultimate and final SMP Update decision makers.

SHOULD YOU, THE ELECTED BE CONCERNED?  You decide.

    ·         #221 In the WRIA Process and the SMA/SMP Update Process the concept of State regulation of land use based on Feeder Bluffs and Littoral Drift Cells is a False Construct.

    ·         112511 – ESpees – G

    ·         #220 The DoE’s current cram-down of NNL and increased set-backs based on precautionary principle and ‘new understandings of science’ (non-science/non-sense/pseudo-science) should be rejected.

    ·         112411 – ESpees – G

    ·         #219 Impact on all stakeholders It’s content is extremely pertinent to the work we are doing in Clallam County’s SMA/SMP Update.

    ·         #218 Specifically, I am requesting that you reclassify the entire Whiskey Creek Beach Resort area as Modified Lowland. Right now you are proposing that a short area west of the creek be designated as Modified Lowland and the rest as High Bank.

    ·         #217 Many activities would be prohibited without really looking at the specifics.

    ·         111011 – PHewett – G

    ·         #216 This is on the DOE Public Trust Doctrine web site (88 pages)”Finally, SMP’S, unlike other comprehensive plans, are adopted as WAC’S and become part of the state’s Shoreline Master Program. As such, all local SMP rules, regulations, designations and guidelines BECOME STATE LAW AND ARE ENFORCEABLE. in this manner, protection of public trust resources and uses becomes binding.”

    ·         110711 – PHewett – G

    ·         #215 SMP FOLLOW THE LETTER OF THE LAW not the WAC’S

    ·         110711 – PHewett – G

    ·         #214 Court: Washington Supreme Court Docket: 84675-8 Opinion Date: August 18, 2011 Judge: Johnson Areas of Law: Environmental Law, Government & Administrative Law, Zoning, Planning & Land Use Applicable Law and Analysis. In affirming the Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court explained that even though there is significant local government involvement in the creation of SMPs, the process is done in the shadow of the Department of Ecology’s (DOE) control.

    ·         110711 – PHewett – G

    ·         #213 the Shoreline Management Act dictates that the Department of Ecology retains control over the final contents and approval of SMPs. Therefore, SMP regulations are the product of state action and are not subject to RCW 82.02.020.”

    ·         #210 The law has recently been perverted by State Agencies to usurp private property rights, an uncompensated State taking by regulation.

    ·         110511 – PHewett – G

    ·         #209 There is no WA State law requiring any taking of private property for public access on the Clallam County SMP Update.

    ·         110411 – PHewett – G

    ·         #207 Victory for PLF Whatcom County’s shoreline management rules conflict with state law, which mandates that counties “shall provide for methods which achieve effective and timely protection against loss or damage to single family residences and appurtenant structures due to shoreline erosion.” RCW 90.58.100.

    ·         110411 – PHewett – G

    ·         #206 BY Law there is NO mention of the words “imminent or danger or soft armoring” IF THIS WORDING IS USED ON THE CLALLAM COUNTY SMP, IN SPITE OF THE FACT THAT IT CONTRADICTS WA STATE LAW RCW 90.58.100 Protection of single family residences IT WILL BECOME CLALLAM COUNTY LAW.

The Sustainable, Affordable, Fair, and Efficient (SAFE) National Flood Insurance Program Reauthorization Act of 2017 tackles systemic problems with flood insurance,

puts it back on solid fiscal ground,

and reframes our nation’s entire disaster paradigm to one that focuses more on prevention and mitigation to spare the high cost of rebuilding after flood disasters.

Congress must reauthorize the NFIP, which expires on Sept. 30, 2017.

The bill is also cosponsored by Sens. John Kennedy (R-La.), Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.), Marco Rubio (R-Fla.),

SAFE NFIP addresses critical problems with the program, administered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), following Superstorm Sandy AND OTHER DISASTERS: unsustainability, low participation rates, inaccurate flood maps, an indifference to the benefits of flood control infrastructure, agency mismanagement, unsustainable debt service costs and contractor profiteering.

  • Hyper-globalization by Hook or by Crook?

Starting were I left off on my last post, in the beginning, the 2001 preface was redefining globalization.

THE CHANGE IN THE ROLE OF NATIONAL GOVERNMENTS (INCLUDED NEUTRALIZING THE POWER AND THE SOVEREIGNTY OF  U.S.A.) IS THE MOST EVIDENT IN THE CASE OF THE WCD.

2001 IN THE END, THE ISSUE WAS NOT AND IS NOT ABOUT DAMS.

Most of the critical reaction was expected. The report represented a significant departure from traditional thinking on the role of large dams in WATER and energy development. It introduced several considerations that were not previously given much weight in decision-making. This will take some getting used to.

THE THEORY OF HYPERGLOBALISATION BY HOOK OR BY CROOK?

     (you decide)

Hmmm…AUG 9, 2017 EXPOSING THE HOOKERS AND CROOKS.

     ———————————————————————————-

AS NOTED IN THE 2001 COMMENT. SPECIFICALLY REWORDED REGARDING THE GLOBALIZATION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA INCLUDING THE PAST THREE DECADES OF HYPERGLOBALISATION.

     —————————————————————————–

WE THE PEOPLE of The United States government,  have witnessed a three-way migration of the authority-voluntary or INVOLUNTARY-once vested in US:

The upward migration to supranational structures WITH FUNCTIONS ONCE VESTED  SOLELY THE UNITED STATE GOVERNMENT, WE THE PEOPLE,  such as the European Union (“EU”), the International Monetary Fund (“IMF”), or the World Trade Organization (“WTO”);  and outward migration to the GLOBAL market, corporations, and elements of civil society.

GLOBALIZATION OF THE  UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IN KEEPING WITH THE PRINCIPLE OF SUBSIDIARITY

PROMINENT AMONG THESE ARE THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL INSTITUTIONS  AT THE  FOREFRONT OF GLOBAL ECONOMIC MANAGEMENT-THE WORLD BANK, THE IMF,  THE WTO AND TO A LESSER EXTENT THE ORGANIZATIONS OF THE UNITED NATIONS.

    ——————————————————————————-

    The downward migration to regional and local levels go and IN RESPONSE TO WE THE PEOPLE OF AMERICA DEMAND FOR LIGHTER U.S. GOVERNMENT STRUCTURES;

MANY FUNCTIONS FORMERLY RESTING WITH THE US GOVERNMENT IN CONGRESS,

ARE NOW PRIVATIZED,  OR ABANDONED AND ADOPTED BY NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS (“NGOS”) and other elements of civil society.

INDEED,  THESE GLOBAL NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS (“NGOS”) RETAIN A DECISION-MAKING STRUCTURE THAT IS BARELY ACCOUNTABLE TO THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT AND  WE THE PEOPLE, HARD WORKING, TAXPAYING, VOTING  AMERICAN CITIZENS.

    ————————————————

WHY PRIVATIZED PROFITEERING ARAMARK is bring in FOREIGN VISA WORKERS from NIGERIA, INDIA, PAKISTAN, ROMANIA etc. And taking jobs away from American citizens in a very small communities in WA State?

Ever wonder why the federal government would be allowing hundreds of foreign refugees to work in a relatively small town in Idaho?  including all of the above but not limited to, and for other purposes? Wonder no more. Many of them end up working in the world’s largest yogurt factory.

    ———————————————————————————-

THE THEORY OF HYPERGLOBALISATION BY HOOK OR BY CROOK?  (you decide)

    ———————————————————————————

GLOBALIZATION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (A SOVEREIGN COUNTRY)

GLOBALIZATION BY THE WORLD BANK, UNITED NATIONS in the USA, the European Union (EU), UNESCO, World heritage sites, man and the Biosphere, NATO, including all of the above but not limited to, and for other purposes

GLOBALIZATION by giving away the control and use of Americas public land

GLOBALIZATION AN INSIDE JOB, BY OBAMA’S DEMOCRATS IN CONTROL OF CONGRESS for eight years.

GLOBALIZATION by civil service members in the USA is the Senior Executive service (SES)

    GLOBALIZATION BY IMMIGRATION

GLOBALIZATION BY OBAMA’S APPOINTED. AN INSIDE JOB, giving away the control and use of Americas public land AND WATER.

PUBLIC WATER TAKEN BY “RULE” EPA AND ARMY CORP (WOTUS)

PUBIC LAND USE AND CONTROL TAKEN BY USFS  “AUTHORITY” AN NPS TAKEN BY “SELECTION”.

GLOBALIZATION BY PRIVATIZATION, IN THE USA? START WITH ARAMARK CORP

IN 2001 THE END ISSUE,WAS NOT AND IS STILL NOT DAMS.THE BOTTOM LINE WAS AND IS THE WORLD BANKS OVERLAPPING ATTEMPTS FOR THE GLOBALIZATION OF THE U.S.A.

WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PAST THREE DECADES OF HYPERGLOBALISATION?

     —————————————————————-

THE HOOKS AND THE CROOKS?  (AN INSIDE JOB?)

In April 2011, the EPA, under the Barack Obama administration, proposed a new set of guidelines to replace the two issued under the Bush administration. These guidelines formed the basis of what became the Clean Water Rule. In contrast to the manner in which the 2003 and 2007 guidelines were issued, THE EPA AND THE USACE CONDUCTED PEER-REVIEWED HYDROLOGICAL STUDIES, INTERAGENCY REVIEWS, AND ECONOMIC ANALYSES BEFORE PUBLISHING A FORMAL PROPOSED RULE ON APRIL 21, 2014.[12][15]

On May 27, 2015, after a public comment period and numerous meetings with state entities, public and private stakeholders, then-EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy along with Assistant Army Secretary Jo-Ellen Darcy signed the Clean Water Rule, set to become effective in August of that year 2015.[1]

THE GLOBAL HOOKS AND THE CROOKS?

THIS ARTICLE IS 3 YEARS OLD The president of the World Bank Jim Yong Kim saidTHE WATER ISSUE IS CRITICALLY RELATED TO climate change. People say that carbon is the currency of climate change. WATER IS THE TEETH. FIGHTS OVER WATER AND FOOD ARE GOING TO BE THE MOST SIGNIFICANT DIRECT IMPACTS OF climate change in the next five to 10 years. There’s just no question about it.

The president of the World Bank Jim Yong Kim said ,DO WE HAVE A PLAN? ‘What do you mean a plan?’ I said a plan that’s equal to the challenge. A plan that will convince anyone who asks us that we’re really serious about climate change, and that we have a plan that can actually keep us at less than 2C warming. We still don’t have one.DO WE HAVE A PLAN? THE ANSWER, three years ago  WAS NO.

BECAUSE OF THE FAILED POLICIES  LEFT BY OBAMA, DURING  PRESIDENT TRUMP’S  FIRST 100 DAYS IN OFFICE, ON AVERAGE, 13,800 PEOPLE IN AMERICA DIED FROM LETHAL DRUG OVERDOSES.

JAN 1, 2016 THE UNITED STATES IS EXPERIENCING AN EPIDEMIC OF DRUG OVERDOSE (POISONING) DEATHS. SINCE 2000, THE RATE OF DEATHS FROM DRUG OVERDOSES HAS INCREASED 137%, INCLUDING A 200% INCREASE IN THE RATE OF OVERDOSE DEATHS INVOLVING OPIOIDS (OPIOID PAIN RELIEVERS AND HEROIN).

INDEED, PRESIDENT TRUMP  HAS REDUCED THE FLOW OF  ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS  BY 61% AND THE TONS OF KILLER DRUGS THEY BROUGHT WITH THEM INTO OUR HOMELAND

Even the mainstream (LIBERAL) media couldn’t argue with Trump’s claims of a dramatic decrease in illegal immigration since becoming president, as Politifact fact-checked his statements and found that historical data from the Border Patrol backs up his claims.

2014, some 69,000 of the 1.6 million state plus federal prisoners were noncitizens, per a September 2015 report by the federal Bureau of Justice Statistics,

OCT 22, 2016 –  A DISPROPORTIONATE AMOUNT OF ILLEGALS ARE IN STATE PRISONS.

After we circled back to Smith’s office with the figures we’d found, Smith’s deputy chief of staff, Chris Philp, said by email that Smith had meant to tell the delegates

THAT “ONE-THIRD OF FEDERAL SENTENCES GO TO ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS,

NOT THAT ONE-THIRD OF FEDERAL PRISONERS ARE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS.”

MORE TO THE POINT, THE GOVERNMENT DOESN’T SORT ALL INMATES BY IMMIGRATION STATUS,

    ——————————————————————————-

NINE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION AND CRIME. continued….

ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION AND CRIME BECAME A HOT TOPIC THIS ELECTION CYCLE AS SOON AS DONALD TRUMP BURST INTO THE REPUBLICAN PRIMARY WITH HIS CALL TO BUILD A WALL TO KEEP CRIMINAL ILLEGAL ALIENS OUT OF THE COUNTRY.

Such policy discussions have fallen by the wayside as the election cycle morphed into a mudslinging fight of personal insults and accusations of sexual assaults, but the link between illegal immigration and crime is still worth discussing, ESPECIALLY SINCE TRUMP’S INITIAL HIGHLIGHTING OF THE ISSUE FUELED HIS RISE.

HERE ARE NINE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION AND CRIME.

    1. Federal, state and local governments keep data involving illegal immigration and crime out of the public purview. Fox News reported in 2015 that a source from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) said “that comprehensive statistics on illegal immigrant crime are not available from the federal government, and suggested contacting county, state and federal jail and prison systems individually to compose a tally, a process that would encompass thousands of local departments.”

Former Department of Justice attorney J. Christian Adams also told Fox News that some states do readily track illegal immigration and crime, but they withhold the specific numbers from the public out of fear of backlash from the federal government or for political purposes.

However, there is still some data that can be pieced together to examine illegal immigration and crime, and evidence suggests that there is a correlation between the two.

    1. Available evidence suggests that illegals are more likely to commit crimes than the rest of the population. Fox News sorted through myriad “local, state and federal statistics” and found that “illegal immigrants are three times as likely to be convicted of murder as members of the general population and account for far more crimes than their 3.5-percent share of the U.S. population would suggest.”

The percentage of illegals committing the number of crimes are as follows, according to Fox News:

    • 13.6 percent of those sentenced for all committed crimes in the country
    • 12 percent of murder sentences
    • 16 percent of trafficking sentences
    1. Almost 50 percent of federal crimes were committed near the Mexico border. A report from the Department of Justice in 2014 found the following, via Judicial Watch:

Of the 61,529 criminal cases initiated by federal prosecutors last fiscal year, more than 40%—or 24,746—were filed in court districts neighboring the Mexican border. This includes Arizona, New Mexico, Southern California, Western Texas and Southern Texas. The two Texas districts each had more than double the convictions of all four federal court districts in the state of New York combined, according to the DOJ report. The Western Texas District had the nation’s heaviest crime flow, with 6,341 cases filed by the feds. In Southern Texas 6,130 cases were filed, 4,848 in Southern California, 3,889 in New Mexico and 3,538 in Arizona.

Not surprisingly, most of the offenses were immigration related. In fact, 38.6% of all federal cases (23,744) filed last year involved immigration, the DOJ report confirms. Nearly 22% (13,383) were drug related, 19.7% (12,123) were violent crimes and 10.2% (6,300) involved white-collar offenses that include a full range of frauds committed by business and government professionals. This is hardly earth-shattering news in fact, the nation’s southern border region has for years been known for its high crime rate compared to the rest of the country.

Judicial Watch also notes that the crimes near the border had been spiking at such an “alarming rate” that “Mexican and American journalists have largely stopped reporting it,” whether for ideological reasons or to avoid backlash from the drug cartels.

    1. Illegal immigrants accounted for nearly 75 percent of federal drug sentences in 2014.This is according to the United States Sentencing Commission, which also found that illegals were involved in nearly 17 percent of drug-trafficking sentences and over 33 percent of federal sentences overall.
    2. A disproportionate amount of illegals are in state prisons. Peter Kirsanow, a member of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights and a lawyer, reviewed statistics from the Government Accountability Office and Pew Research Center and compared the number of illegals and non-illegals imprisoned for murder-related offenses in a 2015 National Review piece. Some of his findings:
    • There were 68.57 illegal aliens imprisoned for every 100,000 illegals in Arizona, compared to 54.06 citizens and legal noncitizens imprisoned for every 100,000 citizens and legal noncitizens.
    • There were 97.2 illegals imprisoned for every 100,000 illegals in California, compared to 74.1 citizens and legal noncitizens imprisoned per 100,000 citizen and legal noncitizens.
    • There were 54.85 illegals imprisoned for every 100,00 illegals in Florida, compared to 67.8 legal immigrants imprisoned for every 100,000 legal immigrants.
    • There were 168.75 illegals imprisoned for every 100,000 illegals in New York, compared to 48.12 legal immigrants imprisoned for every 100,000 legal immigrants.
    • There were 54.54 illegals imprisoned for every 100,000 illegals in Texas, compared to 65.43 legal immigrants .

Kirsanow acknowledged that while comparing murder incarceration rates isn’t a perfect measurement, “it’s difficult to contend that illegal aliens are more law-abiding than legal residents — at least when it comes to major crimes.” But the more disturbing fact was that “approximately 2,430 illegal aliens are in prison just for homicide-related offenses” in California alone.

“If one assumes that each illegal alien so imprisoned was responsible for just one homicide-related offense, that amounts to about a couple thousand major crimes that, arguably, wouldn’t have occurred but for the actors’ unlawful presence in the United States,” Kirsanow notes. “That translates to thousands of American citizens (and others) across the country slaughtered by individuals who shouldn’t have been here in the first place.”

    1. Tens of thousands of criminal illegals have been released by ICE and are at large in the country. In 2015, ICE released almost 20,000 illegals that committed 64,000 crimes that involve “12,307 drunken driving convictions, 1,728 cases of assault, 216 kidnappings and more than 200 homicide or manslaughter convictions,” according to the Washington Times. It’s even worse when one considers the fact that the Obama administration released “86,000 illegal immigrants who have committed over 231,000 crimes in just the past two and a half years,” according to Independent Journal Review.
    2. The rise in illegals crossing the border has fueled gang violence. In March, the Daily Caller reported that the barbaric MS-13 gang has been recruiting young illegals, resulting in higher crime in the Washington, D.C area. In fact, Montgomery County in Maryland “has seen an unprecedented level of gang-related violence in the last 8 months – with illegal immigrant youth being responsible for 85 percent of street robberies,” according to IJ Review. The horrors of MS-13 have extended to the Brentwood community in Long Island, NY, where the remains of a dead teenager was found for the fifth time in six weeks, likely the result of MS-13.
    3. Sanctuary cities have hampered law enforcement in cracking down on gangs. Heather Mac Donald documented the frustrations of Los Angeles law enforcement officers in 2004 when they couldn’t touch known gang members because of their status as illegals:

“We can’t even talk about it,” says a frustrated LAPD captain. “People are afraid of a backlash from Hispanics.” Another LAPD commander in a predominantly Hispanic, gang-infested district sighs: “I would get a firestorm of criticism if I talked about [enforcing the immigration law against illegals].”

The issue is that these gang members tended to sneak back into the country even after they were deported for heinous crimes, and police officers couldn’t enforce immigration laws against them and would have to resort to surveilling these gang members until they commit a crime.

While these statistics from Mac Donald’s piece are dated, it illustrates just how badly the sanctuary policy has hampered crime:

    • In Los Angeles, 95 percent of all outstanding warrants for homicide (which total 1,200 to 1,500) target illegal aliens. Up to two-thirds of all fugitive felony warrants (17,000) are for illegal aliens.
    • A confidential California Department of Justice study reported in 1995 that 60 percent of the 20,000-strong 18th Street Gang in southern California is illegal; police officers say the proportion is actually much greater. The bloody gang collaborates with the Mexican Mafia, the dominant force in California prisons, on complex drug-distribution schemes, extortion, and drive-by assassinations, and commits an assault or robbery every day in L.A. County. The gang has grown dramatically over the last two decades by recruiting recently arrived youngsters, most of them illegal, from Central America and Mexico.
    • The leadership of the Columbia Lil’ Cycos gang, which uses murder and racketeering to control the drug market around L.A.’s MacArthur Park, was about 60 percent illegal in 2002, says former assistant U.S. attorney Luis Li. Francisco Martinez, a Mexican Mafia member and an illegal alien, controlled the gang from prison, while serving time for felonious reentry following deportation.

Unsurprisingly, violent crime has skyrocketed recently in Los Angeles as illegal immigration has surged. In fact, crime among sanctuary cities in general has increased.

    1. Crime has also increased among major cities that are “immigration hubs.” Daily Wire editor-in-chief Ben Shapiro has written:

David Frum of The Atlantic, no hard-core immigration opponent, wrote in 2015 that as of 2011, there were 25,000 illegal immigrants serving murder sentences, and nearly 3 million offenses committed by illegal immigrants between 2003 and 2009, including 70,000 sex crimes and hundreds of thousands of other violent crimes. “After years of welcome decline,” Frum pointed out, “crime rates are rising in immigration hubs including Houston, Milwaukee, Phoenix, and San Diego.” Former Colorado Congressman Tom Tancredo reported in 2015 that between “2008 and 2014, 40% of all murder convictions in Florida were criminal aliens. In New York it was 34% and Arizona 17.8%. During those years, criminal aliens accounted for 38% of all murder convictions in the five states of California, Texas, Arizona, Florida and New York, while illegal aliens constitute only 5.6% of the total population in those states.

Some individual examples of those who were victimized by illegals can be seen here and here.

BARACK OBAMA ENDED HIS PRESIDENCY HAVING GRANTED CLEMENCY TO MORE PEOPLE CONVICTED OF FEDERAL CRIMES THAN ANY CHIEF EXECUTIVE IN 64 YEARS

OVERALL, OBAMA GRANTED CLEMENCY TO 1,927 INDIVIDUALS, A FIGURE THAT INCLUDES 1,715 COMMUTATIONS AND 212 PARDONS.

But he, OBAMA, also received far more requests for clemency than any U.S. president on record, LARGELY AS A RESULT OF AN INITIATIVE SET UP BY HIS ADMINISTRATION TO SHORTEN PRISON TERMS FOR NONVIOLENT

FEDERAL INMATES CONVICTED OF DRUG CRIMES.

Of course, Obama received such a large number of clemency requests in part BECAUSE HIS ADMINISTRATION ASKED FOR THEM. UNDER A PROGRAM LAUNCHED IN 2014 KNOWN AS THE Clemency Initiative, the Justice Department encouraged “qualified federal inmates– as defined by DOJ criteria – to apply to have their prison sentences commuted. The initiative led to a surge in requests and also helps explain why Obama’s use of clemency tilted so heavily toward sentence commutations, rather than pardons.

    “QUALIFIED FEDERAL INMATES” DEFINED AS?

    THEY ARE NON-VIOLENT, LOW-LEVEL OFFENDERS WITHOUT “SIGNIFICANT?” TIES TO LARGE SCALE CRIMINAL ORGANIZATIONS, GANGS OR CARTELS;

In his record use of commutations, Obama reduced sentences for federal inmates who were convicted in all 50 states, according to our analysis. Among those who received reduced penalties were 568 individuals serving life sentences and two who had been sentenced to death.

INDEED, including 1,913 pardons, 118 commutations and 13 remissions – during his nearly eight years in office, according to a Pew Research Center analysis of Department of Justice statistics.

4 days ago – The number of unauthorized immigrants in the U.S. was lower in 2015 than at the end of the Great Recession. Here are five key findings about …

    LISTED AS NUMBER FOUR (4)

SIX STATES ACCOUNT FOR 59% of unauthorized immigrants: CALIFORNIA, TEXAS, FLORIDA, NEW YORK, NEW JERSEY AND ILLINOIS.

But individual states have experienced different trends. From 2009 to 2014, the unauthorized immigrant population decreased in seven states: Alabama, California, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Nevada and South Carolina. In all of them, the decline was due to a decrease in unauthorized immigrants from Mexico.

IN SIX STATES, THE UNAUTHORIZED IMMIGRANT POPULATION ROSE OVER THE SAME TIME PERIOD: LOUISIANA, MASSACHUSETTS, NEW JERSEY, PENNSYLVANIA, VIRGINIA AND WASHINGTON.

IN ALL OF THESE BUT LOUISIANA, THE INCREASES WERE DUE TO GROWTH IN UNAUTHORIZED IMMIGRANT POPULATIONS FROM NATIONS OTHER THAN MEXICO.

(IN LOUISIANA, THE OVERALL INCREASE WAS DRIVEN BY AN INCREASE IN MEXICAN UNAUTHORIZED IMMIGRANTS.)

Feb 4, 2013 – Ten Years After Powell’s U.N. Speech, Old Hands Are Ready for More Blood … The Washington Post was more war-crazed, headlining its editorial “Irrefutable” and declaring that after …. They’re old hands, dripping with blood.

When Secretary of State Colin Powell spoke to the U.N. Security Council on February 5, 2003, countless journalists in the United States extolled him for a masterful performance — making the case that Saddam Hussein’s Iraq had weapons of mass destruction.

THE FACT THAT THE SPEECH LATER BECAME NOTORIOUS SHOULD NOT OBSCURE HOW EASILY TRUTH BECOMES IRRELEVANT IN THE PROCESS OF GOING TO WAR.

Ten years later — with Powell’s speech a historic testament of shameless deception leading to vast carnage — we may not remember the extent of the fervent accolades. At the time, fawning praise was profuse across the USA’s mainline media spectrum, including the nation’s reputedly great newspapers.

The New York Times editorialized that Powell “was all the more convincing because he dispensed with apocalyptic invocations of a struggle of good and evil and focused on shaping a sober, factual case against Mr. Hussein’s regime.” The Washington Post was more war-crazed, headlining its editorial “Irrefutable” and declaring that after Powell’s U.N. presentation “it is hard to imagine how anyone could doubt that Iraq possesses weapons of mass destruction.”

Yet basic flaws in Powell’s U.N. speech were abundant. Slanted translations of phone intercepts rendered them sinister. Interpretations of unclear surveillance photos stretched to concoct the worst. Summaries of cherry-picked intelligence detoured around evidence that Iraq no longer had WMDs. Ballyhooed documents about an Iraqi quest for uranium were forgeries.

Assumptions about U.S. prerogatives also went largely unquestioned. In response to Powell’s warning that the U.N. Security Council would place itself “in danger of irrelevance” by failing to endorse a U.S.-led invasion of Iraq, the adulation from U.S. media embraced the notion that the United Nations could only be “relevant” by bending to Washington’s wishes. A combination of cooked intelligence and geopolitical arrogance, served up to rapturous reviews at home, set the stage for what was to come.

The invasion began six weeks after Powell’s tour de force at the United Nations. Soon, a search for Iraqi weapons of mass destruction was in full swing. None turned up. In January 2004 — 11 months after Powell’s U.N. speech — the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace released a report concluding that top officials in the Bush administration “systematically misrepresented the threat from Iraq’s WMD and ballistic missile programs.”

Left twisting in the wind was Powell’s speech to the U.N. Security Council, where he’d issued a “conservative estimate” that Iraq “has a stockpile of between 100 and 500 tons of chemical weapons agent.” The secretary of state had declared: “There can be no doubt that Saddam Hussein has biological weapons and the capability to rapidly produce more, many more.”

Nineteen months after the speech, in mid-September 2004, Powell made a terse public acknowledgment. “I think it’s unlikely that we will find any stockpiles,” he said. But no gingerly climb-down could mitigate the bloodshed that continued in Iraq.

A decade ago, Colin Powell played a starring role in a recurring type of political dramaturgy. Scripts vary, while similar dramas play out on a variety of scales. Behind a gauzy curtain, top officials engage in decision-making on war that gives democracy short shrift. For the public, crucial information that bears on the wisdom of warfare remains opaque or out of sight.

Among the powerful and not-so-powerful, in mass media and on Capitol Hill, the default position is still to defer to presidential momentum for war. Public candor and policy introspection remain in short supply.

The new secretary of state, John Kerry — like the one he just replaced, Hillary Clinton — voted for the Iraq war resolution in the Senate, nearly four months before Powell went to the U.N. Security Council. During the crucial lead-up months, Senator Kerry was at pains to show his avid support for an invasion. In early October 2002, appearing for an hour on MSNBC’s “Hardball” program live from The Citadel as an audience of young cadets filled the screen, Kerry said: “I’m prepared to go. I think people understand that Saddam Hussein is a danger.”

Since then, Kerry has publicly said that he would have voted for the war resolution even if he’d known that Iraq actually had no weapons of mass destruction. But on the Senate floor, Kerry prefaced his vote for war by rhetorically demanding to know why Saddam Hussein was “attempting to develop nuclear weapons when most nations don’t even try.” The senator emphasized that “according to intelligence, Iraq has chemical and biological weapons.”

Months later, when Powell trumpeted that theme at the United Nations, the landslide of testimonials included this one from a future U.S. ambassador to the U.N., Susan Rice: “I think he has proved that Iraq has these weapons and is hiding them, and I don’t think many informed people doubted that.”

Meanwhile, the Washington Post edition with the editorial headlined “Irrefutable” also included unanimous agreement from each of the opinion columns on the facing page.

Longtime Post columnist Richard Cohen attested to Powell’s unquestionable veracity with these words: “The evidence he presented to the United Nations — some of it circumstantial, some of it absolutely bone-chilling in its detail — had to prove to anyone that Iraq not only hasn’t accounted for its weapons of mass destruction but without a doubt still retains them. Only a fool — or possibly a Frenchman – could conclude otherwise.”

Inches away, another venerable pundit held forth. Powell managed to “present the world with a convincing and detailed X-ray of Iraq’s secret weapons and terrorism programs yesterday,” wrote Jim Hoagland, a Post foreign-policy specialist. He concluded: “To continue to say that the Bush administration has not made its case, you must now believe that Colin Powell lied in the most serious statement he will ever make, or was taken in by manufactured evidence. I don’t believe that. Today, neither should you.”

Fast forward to the current era. What are Richard Cohen and Jim Hoagland writing — about Iran?

On February 6, 2012, exactly nine years after proclaiming that “only a fool” could doubt Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, Cohen’s column declared flatly: “The ultimate remedy is Iranian regime change.” Four months ago, Cohen wrapped up a column by observing “there is still time for Iran to back down before President Obama’s red line — no nuclear weapon — is crossed. This is a war whose time has not yet come.” Not yet.

Hoagland — a decade after telling readers they should put their trust in Colin Powell’s “convincing and detailed X-ray of Iraq’s secret weapons” — is now making clear that his patience with Iran is wearing thin. “Until recently,” Hoagland wrote five weeks ago, “I had been relatively comfortable with Obama’s assertions that there is time to reach a peaceful resolution with Iran.” Hoagland’s column went on to say that military strikes on Iran “threaten disastrous political and economic consequences for the world,” so diplomatic efforts should try to avert the need for such strikes — before they become necessary.

So goes the dominant spectrum of opinionating and policymaking for war, from eagerness to reluctance. Propaganda lead-ups to warfare are as varied as wars themselves; and yet every style of such propaganda relies on deception, and every war is unspeakable horror.

After jumping onto ghastly bandwagons for one war after another, the nation’s media establishment is available to do it again. So is the current U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. So is the new secretary of state. They’re old hands, dripping with blood. They have not had enough.
