The Pendleton Civil Service Reform Act (ch. 27, 22 Stat. 403) is a United States federal law, enacted in 1883, which established that positions within the federal government should be awarded on the basis of merit instead of political affiliation.

Blog: National Security Council leakers worried Trump might arrest them

    By Ed Straker

If you’re a left-leaning member of the National Security Council and you’re unhappy with the duly elected president, what do you do?  Why, leak details of classified discussions and pending operations to the media, of course!

In a N.Y. Times article, which itself is based on NSC leaks, leakers try to portray the NSC in chaos, but in the process of attempting to do so, they reveal the scope of their disloyalty.

These are chaotic and anxious days inside the National Security Council, the traditional center of management for a president’s dealings with an uncertain world. Some staff members have turned to encrypted communications to talk with their colleagues, after hearing that Mr. Trump’s top advisers are considering an “insider threat” program that could result in monitoring cellphones and emails for leaks.

Now, why would NSC staffers talking with their colleagues, presumably about affairs of state, feel the need to encrypt their conversations from the man they work for?  I think the implication is clear – that these conversations are about undermining and leaking information to harm the Trump administration.

Nervous staff members recently met late at night at a bar a few blocks from the White House and talked about purging their social media accounts of any suggestion of anti-Trump sentiments.

Why would they need to do that?  Past anti-Trump sentiments are not against the law.  But leaking classified information is.  I think these leakers are trying to keep a lower profile to avoid being caught.

Last week, Defense Secretary Jim Mattis was exploring whether the Navy could intercept and board an Iranian ship to look for contraband weapons possibly headed to Houthi fighters in Yemen.

White House officials said that [the operation was cancelled]… because news of the impending operation leaked, a threat to security that has helped fuel the move for the insider threat program.

This is leakers in action.  But instead of writing an article about their illegality, this is only mentioned in passing, as part of the Times’ main interest in portraying the NSC as being in chaos.  What amazes me is how the Times doesn’t seem to think revealing bureaucrats leaking classified information is even a problem; the paper is are so disconnected from reality that its writers think anything, including disregarding national security laws, is justified, all in the pursuit of Trump.

[Some NSC staffers have left but] Many of those who remain, who see themselves as apolitical civil servants, have been disturbed by displays of overt partisanship. At an all-hands meeting about two weeks into the new administration, Ms. McFarland told the group it needed to “make America great again,” numerous staff members who were there said. New Trump appointees are carrying coffee mugs with that Trump campaign slogan into meetings with foreign counterparts, one staff member said.

Why is it partisan to have a mug featuring the slogan of the president…in his own White House?  When Obama was president, do you think staff avoided pro-Obama slogans?  I’m sure they didn’t.  These people are just appalled to be confronted with direct evidence that Trump is their president.  It shows that they don’t have either the temperament or the loyalty to do their jobs.

Federal judge dismisses challenge to Wyoming trespassing law

By BEN NEARY Associated Press Updated Jul 7, 2016

CHEYENNE — A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit from groups that challenged Wyoming laws prohibiting trespassing on private lands to collect data.

Groups including the Western Watersheds Project, the Natural Resources Defense Council and the National Press Photographers Association sued Wyoming last year.

The groups claimed state laws prohibiting trespassing to collect data were unconstitutional. The groups said the laws, which allowed both civil penalties and criminal prosecution, would block people from informing government regulators about such things as violations of water quality rules and illegal treatment of animals.

U.S. District Judge Scott Skavdahl of Casper dismissed the groups’ lawsuit Wednesday, ruling there’s no constitutional right to trespass on private lands.

“The ends, no matter how critical or important to a public concern, do not justify the means, violating private property rights,” Skavdahl wrote.

Skavdahl last winter expressed concerns about earlier versions of the laws, which the Wyoming Legislature had passed early last year. The earlier versions sought to prohibit collection of data on “open lands,” a term Skavdahl said could be stretched to cover more than just private property.

In response to Skavdahl’s criticism, the Wyoming Legislature earlier this year revised the laws to specify they only applied to trespassing to collect data on private lands.

Gov. Matt Mead on Thursday said he was pleased with Skavdahl’s dismissal of the groups’ lawsuit.

“There has been a lot of misinformation about the intent of this law,” Mead said. “The judge’s ruling affirms that the issue at the heart of the matter is preserving private property rights — a fundamental right in our country.”

David Muraskin, a lawyer representing Western Watersheds and the National Press Photographers Association, said Thursday that his clients are disappointed with Skavdahl’s ruling and are considering whether to appeal.

The US Government has taken the position that they can do anything that they want, where ever they want whenever they want. Remember the Olympic Peninsula Electronic Warfare Project? And, they got away with it until “We the People” demanded Due Process.

Who Knew? About this is WA State Law RCW 77.12.154

It took me two months, with the help of an attorney,  to find this  WA State Law, it was buried under the  “Right of entry”  Aircraft operated by department.

When I told people about the law, they wouldn’t believe me. They said

They can’t do that on my “PRIVATE PROPERTY” without my permission, without probable cause, without a search warrant.

You want to bet the government can’t do it on your private property?

I have the documentation of hundreds of these incidences.

In fact it is documented that FROM APRIL 21, 2010   TO FEB. 5, 2011 WDFW did knowingly trespass on every piece of private property AROUND LAKE SUTHERLAND, And on every piece of private property from Lake Sutherland down and on both sides of Indian Creek to the Elwha River.

Indeed, They have been doing it and they are going to keep doing it, and keep doing  it until “We the People” demanded Constitutional Due Process.

Ties That Bind Farmers and Ranchers

Quite regularly, someone seems to say to me “Oh but doesn’t that farm and all those animals really tie you down?”

    Why yes, yes they do.

They tie me to starting my day when the sun rises and ending it well after the sun sets…but it means I always get to see them both.

They tie me to the rhythm of the seasons…the might of the winter blizzard, the first spring breeze carrying the scent of rain, the towering glory of a summer thunderhead and the fall of leaves from the poplar trees.

They tie me to concentrating on the chores that need to be done right now…not the regrets of yesterday nor the worries for tomorrow.

THIS FARM AND ALL THESE ANIMALS KEEP ME TIED DOWN TO EARTH WHEN THE REST OF THE UNIVERSE TRIES TO FLIP ME UPSIDE DOWN.

And so I would much rather be tied down here than set adrift in the tumultuous sea I see so many others in. I find this mooring rather to my liking.

Over the last few weeks, men who I consider true patriots, took control of a wildlife refuge in eastern Oregon, THIS WAS TO PROTEST THE ILLEGAL, UNCONSTITUTIONAL LAND GRABS BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT THROUGH THE BLM (BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT), they did so in a peaceful manner, without threats or violence, an unmanned facility with doors left unlocked, vehicles with key’s in the ignitions.

THE BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT has announced the formation of new division of Security, Protection and Intelligence.  The new division is being created months after Ammon Bundy led dozens of armed anti-federal-lands activists in seizing the unoccupied Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Oregon. It’s unclear to what extent the new BLM law enforcement post is connected to the Malheur incident or to the general rise in anti-federal-lands activity in the rural West.

This new department will operate independently of the already existing BLM Department of Law Enforcement and Protection under Director Salvatore Lauro,

IT WILL ALSO OPERATE INDEPENDENT OF THE DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIORS (BLM’S MOTHER AGENCY)

In calls to BLM public affairs officers they were unaware of the creation of the new division.

FEMA Federal Emergency Management Agency as an independent agency (1979–2003)

FEMA WAS ESTABLISHED UNDER THE 1978 REORGANIZATION PLAN NO. 3, AND ACTIVATED APRIL 1, 1979, BY PRESIDENT JIMMY CARTER IN HIS EXECUTIVE ORDER 12127.

In July, Carter signed Executive Order 12148 shifting disaster relief efforts to the new federal-level agency. Federal Emergency Management Agency FEMA absorbed the Federal Insurance Administration, the National Fire Prevention and Control Administration, the National Weather Service Community Preparedness Program, the Federal Preparedness Agency of the General Services Administration and the Federal Disaster Assistance Administration activities from HUD.

FEMA WAS ALSO GIVEN THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR OVERSEEING THE NATION’S CIVIL DEFENSE, A FUNCTION WHICH HAD PREVIOUSLY BEEN PERFORMED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE’S DEFENSE CIVIL PREPAREDNESS AGENCY.

In 1993, President Bill Clinton appointed James Lee Witt as FEMA Director.

In 1996, the agency was elevated to cabinet rank. This was not continued by President George W. Bush. Witt initiated reforms that would help to streamline the disaster recovery and mitigation process.

The end of the Cold War also allowed the agency’s resources to be turned away from civil defense to natural disaster preparedness.

After Federal Emergency Management Agency FEMA’s creation through reorganization and executive orders, Congress continued to expand Federal Emergency Management Agency FEMA’s authority by assigning responsibilities to it.

THOSE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE DAM SAFETY UNDER THE NATIONAL DAM SAFETY PROGRAM ACT …….

IN ADDITION, FEMA RECEIVED AUTHORITY FOR COUNTER TERRORISM THROUGH THE NUNN-LUGAR-DOMENICI AMENDMENT

UNDER THE WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION ACT OF 1996,

WHICH WAS A RESPONSE TO THE RECOGNIZED VULNERABILITIES OF THE U.S. AFTER THE SARIN GAS ATTACK ON THE TOKYO SUBWAY IN 1995.

CONGRESS FUNDED FEMA THROUGH A COMBINATION OF REGULAR APPROPRIATIONS AND EMERGENCY FUNDING IN RESPONSE TO EVENTS

FEMA under Department of Homeland Security (2003–present)

President George W. Bush signs the Homeland Security Appropriations Act of 2004

Following the September 11, 2001, attacks,

Congress passed the Homeland Security Act of 2002, which created the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to better coordinate among the different federal agencies that deal with law enforcement, disaster preparedness and recovery,

    BORDER PROTECTION

     and civil defense.

Federal Emergency Management Agency FEMA was absorbed into DHS effective March 1, 2003. As a result, FEMA became part of the Emergency Preparedness and Response Directorate of Department of Homeland Security,

Additionally, upon incorporation into Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Emergency Management Agency FEMA was legally dissolved and a new Emergency Preparedness and Response Directorate was established in DHS to replace it.

Following enactment of the Post Katrina Emergency Management Reform Act of 2006

FEMA WAS REESTABLISHED AS AN ENTITY WITHIN DHS, ON MARCH 31, 2007.

EMPLOYING MORE THAN 2,600 FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES.

IT BECAME THE FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY AGAIN ON MARCH 31, 2007, but remained in DHS.

President Bush appointed Michael D. Brown as FEMA’s director in January 2003.

    BROWN WARNED IN SEPTEMBER 2003

THAT FEMA’S ABSORPTION INTO DHS WOULD MAKE A MOCKERY OF FEMA’S NEW MOTTO, “A NATION PREPARED”, AND WOULD “FUNDAMENTALLY SEVER FEMA FROM ITS CORE FUNCTIONS”, “SHATTER AGENCY MORALE” AND “BREAK LONGSTANDING, EFFECTIVE AND TESTED RELATIONSHIPS WITH STATES AND FIRST RESPONDER STAKEHOLDERS”.

THE INEVITABLE RESULT OF THE REORGANIZATION OF 2003, WARNED BROWN, WOULD BE “AN INEFFECTIVE AND UNCOORDINATED RESPONSE” TO A TERRORIST ATTACK OR A NATURAL DISASTER.

CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE….. CONGRESS FUNDED AND EXPANDED  FEMA THROUGH A COMBINATION OF REGULAR APPROPRIATIONS AND EMERGENCY FUNDING IN RESPONSE TO EVENTS

    ————————————————————————————

Hurricane Katrina in 2005 demonstrated that the vision of further unification of functions and another reorganization could not address the problems FEMA had previously faced. The “Final Report of the Select Bipartisan Committee to Investigate the Preparation for and Response to Hurricane Katrina”, released February 15, 2006, by the U.S. Government Printing Office, revealed that federal funding to states for “all hazards” disaster preparedness needs was not awarded unless the local agencies made the purposes for the funding a “just terrorism” function.

Emergency management professionals testified that funds for preparedness for natural hazards was given less priority than preparations for counter terrorism measures. Testimony also expressed the opinion that the mission to mitigate vulnerability and prepare for natural hazard disasters before they occurred had been separated from disaster preparedness functions, making the nation more vulnerable to known hazards, like hurricanes.

    Organization

During the debate of the Homeland Security Act of 2002, some called for FEMA to remain as an independent agency. Later, following the failed response to Hurricane Katrina, CRITICS CALLED FOR FEMA TO BE REMOVED FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY.

TODAY FEMA EXISTS AS A MAJOR AGENCY OF THE DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY. THE ADMINISTRATOR FOR FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT REPORTS DIRECTLY TO THE Secretary of Homeland Security.

IN MARCH 2003, FEMA JOINED 22 OTHER FEDERAL AGENCIES, PROGRAMS AND OFFICES IN BECOMING THE DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY. The new department, headed by Secretary Tom Ridge, brought a coordinated approach to national security from emergencies and disasters – both natural and man-made.

FEMA manages the National Flood Insurance Program. Other programs FEMA previously administered have since been internalized or shifted under direct DHS control.

FEMA is also home to the National Continuity Programs Directorate (formerly the Office of National Security Coordination). ONSC was responsible for developing, exercising, and validating agency wide continuity of operations and continuity of government plans as well as overseeing and maintaining continuity readiness including the Mount Weather Emergency Operations Center. ONSC also coordinated the continuity efforts of other Federal Executive Agencies.

FEMA began administering the Center for Domestic Preparedness in 2007.

William Howard Taft and Theodore Roosevelt had once been friends.

BUT WHEN THE REPUBLICAN PARTY MET IN CHICAGO TO CHOOSE ITS PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE IN JUNE 1912,

THE NOMINATION BATTLE BETWEEN THE TWO MEN WAS BRUTAL, PERSONAL

AND ULTIMATELY FATAL TO THE PARTY’S CHANCES FOR VICTORY IN NOVEMBER.

TAFT DECLARED ROOSEVELT TO BE “THE GREATEST MENACE TO OUR INSTITUTIONS THAT WE HAVE HAD IN A LONG TIME.”

ROOSEVELT SAW TAFT AS THE AGENT OF “THE FORCES OF REACTION AND OF POLITICAL CROOKEDNESS.

” THE RESULTING FLOOR FIGHT IN THE APTLY NAMED CHICAGO COLISEUM LIVED UP TO THE PREDICTION OF THE IRISH-AMERICAN HUMORIST FINLEY PETER DUNNE

THAT THE 1912 CONVENTION WOULD BE “A COMBYNATION IV TH’ CHICAGO FIRE, SAINT BARTHOLOMEW’S MASSACREE, THE BATTLE IV TH’ BOYNE, TH’ LIFE IV JESSE JAMES, AN’ TH’ NIGHT IV TH’ BIG WIND.”

THE CONVENTION WAS NOT ARMAGEDDON, BUT TO OBSERVERS IT SEEMED A CLOSE SECOND. SHOUTS OF “LIAR” AND CRIES OF “STEAMROLLER” PUNCTUATED THE PROCEEDINGS.

    ———————————————————————————-

TO THIS DAY, MANY REMAIN SHOCKED AT THE AUDACIOUS MACHINATIONS OF PARTY OFFICIALS TO SECURE THE NOMINATION FOR TAFT

    —————————————————————————————-

For years, the tensions within the GRAND OLD PARTY had been building over the issue of government regulation. During his presidency, Roosevelt had advocated a “Square Deal” between capital and labor in American society. By the time he left the White House in March 1909, Roosevelt believed that the federal government must do more to supervise large corporations, improve the lot of women and children who worked long hours for low wages in industry, and conserve natural resources. “When I say that I am for the square deal, I mean not merely that I stand for fair play under the present rules of the game, but that I stand for having those rules changed so as to work for a more substantial equality of opportunity and of reward for equally good service,” he said in August 1910. Roosevelt was especially critical of the state and federal courts for overturning reform legislation as unconstitutional, and he said that such decisions were “fundamentally hostile to every species of real popular government.”

Roosevelt’s burgeoning crusade for more active government reflected his loss of faith in William Howard Taft, whom the former Rough Rider had chosen as his successor. As president, Taft had sided with the conservative wing of the party, which had opposed Roosevelt’s reforms at every turn. For his part, Taft believed Roosevelt had stretched the power of the executive branch too far. As a lawyer and former federal judge, Taft had nothing but disdain for his predecessor’s jaundiced view of the judiciary. “The regret which he certainly expressed that the courts had the power to set aside statutes,” wrote the president, “was an attack upon our system at the very point where I think it is the strongest.”

Tensions deepened in 1912, when Roosevelt began ADVOCATING THE RECALL OF JUDICIAL DECISIONS THROUGH POPULAR VOTE. With the courts tamed as an enemy to reform, ROOSEVELT THEN WOULD PRESS FORWARD “TO SEE THAT THE WAGE-WORKER, THE SMALL PRODUCER, THE ORDINARY CONSUMER, SHALL GET THEIR FAIR SHARE OF THE BENEFIT OF BUSINESS PROSPERITY.” To enact his program, Roosevelt signaled that he would accept another term as president and seek the nomination of the Republican Party.

THESE AMBITIONS REVEALED, TAFT AND HIS FELLOW CONSERVATIVES DEEMED ROOSEVELT A DANGEROUS RADICAL. ONCE IN POWER FOR A THIRD TERM, THEY SAID, ROOSEVELT WOULD BE A PERPETUAL CHIEF EXECUTIVE. ROOSEVELT HAD BECOME THE MOST DANGEROUS MAN IN AMERICAN HISTORY, SAID TAFT, “BECAUSE OF HIS HOLD UPON THE LESS INTELLIGENT VOTERS AND THE DISCONTENTED.” THE SOCIAL JUSTICE THAT ROOSEVELT SOUGHT INVOLVED, IN TAFT’S OPINION, “A FORCED DIVISION OF PROPERTY, AND THAT MEANS SOCIALISM.”

Taft dominated the Republican Party machinery in many states, but a few state primaries gave the voters a chance to express themselves. The president and his former friend took to the hustings, and across the country in the spring of 1912 the campaign rhetoric escalated.

Roosevelt described Taft as a “puzzlewit,”

while the president labeled Roosevelt a “honeyfugler.”

Driven to distraction under Roosevelt’s attacks, Taft said in Massachusetts, “I was a man of straw; but I have been a man of straw long enough; every man who has blood in his body and who has been misrepresented as I have is forced to fight.”

A delighted Roosevelt supporter commented that “Taft certainly made a great mistake when he began to ‘fight back.’ He has too big a paunch to have much of a punch, while a free-for-all, slap-bang, kick-him-in-the-belly, is just nuts for the chief.”

ROOSEVELT WON ALL THE REPUBLICAN PRIMARIES AGAINST TAFT EXCEPT IN MASSACHUSETTS.

TAFT DOMINATED THE CAUCUSES THAT SENT DELEGATES TO THE STATE CONVENTIONS.

WHEN THE VOTING WAS DONE, NEITHER MAN HAD THE 540 DELEGATES NEEDED TO WIN.

    ROOSEVELT HAD 411,

TAFT HAD 367 AND MINOR CANDIDATES HAD 46,

LEAVING 254 UP FOR GRABS. THE REPUBLICAN NATIONAL COMMITTEE, DOMINATED BY THE TAFT FORCES,

AWARDED 235 DELEGATES TO THE PRESIDENT AND 19 TO ROOSEVELT, THEREBY ENSURING TAFT’S RENOMINATION.

ROOSEVELT BELIEVED HIMSELF ENTITLED TO 72 DELEGATES FROM ARIZONA, CALIFORNIA, TEXAS AND WASHINGTON THAT HAD BEEN GIVEN TO TAFT.

Firm in his conviction that the nomination was being stolen from him,

Roosevelt decided to break the precedent that kept the candidates away from the national convention and lead his forces to CHICAGO in person.

The night before the proceedings Roosevelt told cheering supporters that there was “a great moral issue” at stake and he should have “sixty to eighty lawfully elected delegates” added to his total.

Otherwise, he said, the contested delegates should not vote.

Roosevelt ended his speech declaring: “FEARLESS OF THE FUTURE; UNHEEDING OF OUR INDIVIDUAL FATES; WITH UNFLINCHING HEARTS AND UNDIMMED EYES; WE STAND AT ARMAGEDDON, AND WE BATTLE FOR THE LORD!”

One pro-Taft observer said that “a tension pervaded the Coliseum breathing the general feeling that a parting of the ways was imminent.”

William Allen White, the famous Kansas editor, looked down from the press tables “INTO THE HUMAN CALDRON THAT WAS BOILING ALL AROUND ME.”

On the first day, the Roosevelt forces lost a test vote on the temporary chairman. Taft’s man, Elihu Root, prevailed.

ROOSEVELT’S SUPPORTERS TRIED TO HAVE 72 OF THEIR DELEGATES SUBSTITUTED FOR TAFT PARTISANS ON THE LIST OF THOSE OFFICIALLY ALLOWED TO TAKE PART IN THE CONVENTION.

WHEN THAT INITIATIVE FAILED, ROOSEVELT KNEW THAT HE COULD NOT WIN, AND HAD EARLIER REJECTED THE IDEA OF A COMPROMISE THIRD CANDIDATE.

“I’LL NAME THE COMPROMISE CANDIDATE. HE’LL BE ME. I’LL NAME THE COMPROMISE PLATFORM. IT WILL BE OUR PLATFORM.

    “WITH THAT, HE BOLTED FROM THE PARTY AND INSTRUCTED HIS DELEGATES NOT TO TAKE PART IN THE VOTING;

TAFT EASILY WON ON THE FIRST BALLOT.

ROOSEVELT, MEANWHILE, SAID HE WAS GOING “TO NOMINATE FOR THE PRESIDENCY A PROGRESSIVE ON A PROGRESSIVE PLATFORM.”

IN AUGUST, ROOSEVELT DID JUST THAT, RUNNING AS THE CANDIDATE OF THE PROGRESSIVE PARTY.

BOTH HE AND TAFT LOST TO THE DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE, WOODROW WILSON, THAT NOVEMBER.

YET, FOR REPUBLICANS WHO SUPPORTED TAFT, THE ELECTORAL DEFEAT WAS WORTH THE IDEOLOGICAL VICTORY.

AS A REPUBLICAN OBSERVED DURING THE CAMPAIGN: “WE CAN’T ELECT TAFT & WE MUST DO ANYTHING TO ELECT WILSON SO AS TO DEFEAT ROOSEVELT.”

The Ethnic Cleansing of Native Americans Crime Magazine

    www.crimemagazine.com/ethnic-cleansing-native-americans
Apr 5, 2013 – From George Washington through Ulysses S. Grant, U.S. presidents followed a relentless policy of removing Native Americans from their lands. President Andrew Jackson codified ethnic cleansing into law when he signed THE INDIAN REMOVAL ACT IN 1830. … In 1830, it was called “The
    —————————————————————————–
In 1803, the year of the Louisiana Purchase, President Jefferson wrote a letter to William Henry Harrison, a future U.S. President who was then governor of the Indiana Territory, explaining what should be done with the Native Americans inhabiting the wild frontier.
    Jefferson went on to explain:

“When they (the Indians) withdraw themselves to the culture of a small piece of land,
they will perceive how useless to them are their extensive forests,
and will be willing to pare them off from time to time in exchange for necessaries for their farms and families.
To promote this disposition to exchange lands, which they have to spare and we want, for necessaries, which we have to spare and they want,

    ————————
IN 1803 JEFFERSON SAID, WE SHALL PUSH OUR TRADING USES, AND BE GLAD TO SEE THE GOOD AND INFLUENTIAL INDIVIDUALS AMONG THEM RUN IN DEBT,
BECAUSE WE OBSERVE THAT WHEN THESE DEBTS GET BEYOND WHAT THE INDIVIDUALS CAN PAY, THEY BECOME WILLING TO LOP THEM OFF BY A CESSION OF LANDS.”

    ——————————
And if any Indians make trouble, Jefferson wrote, they would be driven out of their lands.
“Should any tribe be foolhardy enough to take up the hatchet at any time,” he told Harrison,“the seizing the whole country of that tribe, and driving them across the Mississippi, as the only condition of peace,

WOULD BE AN EXAMPLE TO OTHERS, AND A FURTHERANCE OF OUR FINAL CONSOLIDATION.”

    ———————————————
This was the final solution for the Indians – a policy that would result in their being driven from their ancestral lands and shunted onto barren reservations.

    ————————————————————–
IN 1807 JEFFERSON MADE THIS CLEAR FOUR YEARS LATER WHEN HE WROTE THAT IF THE INDIANS DID NOT COOPERATE, THE POLICY OF THE UNITED STATES WOULD BE “TO PURSUE INDIANS TO EXTERMINATION, or to drive them to new seats beyond our reach.”
    ————————————————————————-
The following are direct quotes from State of the Union Addresses by nine U.S. Presidents. They show a consistent policy, from one administration to the next, to remove Native Americans from their ancestral lands.

    ——————–
    James Monroe
First State of the Union Address
    December 12, 1817
“The earth was given to mankind to support the greatest number of which it is capable, and no tribe or people have a right to withhold from the wants of others more than is necessary for their own support and comfort.”
“In terminating Indian hostilities, as must soon be done…the emigration, which has heretofore been great, will probably increase, and the demand for land and the augmentation in its value be in like proportion.”

    ——————————-
Sixth State of the Union Address
    Dec. 3, 1822
“It is essential to the growth and prosperity of the (Florida) Territory, as well as to the interests of the Union, that those Indians should be removed, by special compact with them, to some other position or concentration within narrower limits.”

    ———————————–
Eighth State of the Union Address
    Dec. 7, 1824
One of the goals of the federal government, he said, was “the extinguishment of the Indian title to large tracts of fertile territory.”

    ————————-
    John Quincy Adams
Fourth State of the Union Address
    Dec. 2, 1828
“They were, moreover, considered as savages, whom it was our policy and our duty to use our influence in converting to Christianity and in bringing within the pale of civilization.”

    ——————————
    Andrew Jackson
Second State of the Union Address
    Dec. 6, 1830
“It gives me pleasure to announce to Congress that the benevolent policy of the Government, steadily pursued for nearly 30 years, in relation to the removal of the Indians beyond the white settlements is approaching to a happy consummation.”

    ————————————-
Eighth State of the Union Address
    Dec. 5, 1836
“The national policy, founded alike in interest and in humanity, so long and so steadily pursued by this Government for the removal of the Indian tribes originally settled on this side of the Mississippi to the west of that river, may be said to have been consummated by the conclusion of the late treaty with the Cherokees.”

    ——————————-
    Martin Van Buren
First State of the Union Address
    Dec. 5, 1837
“The system of removing the Indians west of the Mississippi, commenced by Mr. Jefferson in 1804, has been steadily persevered in by every succeeding President, and may be considered the settled policy of the country.”

    —————————————
Second State of the Union Address
    Dec. 3, 1838
“It affords me sincere pleasure to be able to apprise you of the entire removal of the Cherokee Nation of Indians to their new homes west of the Mississippi.”
Fourth State of the Union Address (Dec. 5, 1840
“The removal of the Indians from within our settled borders is nearly completed.”
“Since the spring of 1837 more than 40,000 Indians have been removed to their new homes west of the Mississippi…”

    ————————–
    Millard Fillmore
Third State of the Union Address
    Dec. 6, 1852
“The removal of the remnant of the tribe of Seminole Indians from Florida has long been a cherished object of the Government, and it is one to which my attention has been steadily directed.”

    —————————————
    James K. Polk
First State of the Union Address
    Dec. 2, 1845
“Our relations with the Indian tribes are of a favorable character. The policy of removing them to a country designed for their permanent residence west of the Mississippi, and without the limits of the organized States and Territories, is better appreciated by them than it was a few years ago.”

    —————————————
Fourth State of the Union Address
    Dec. 5, 1848
“The title to all the Indian lands within the several States of our Union, with the exception of a few small reservations, is now extinguished, and a vast region opened for settlement and cultivation.”
“Within the last four years eight important treaties have been negotiated with different Indian tribes, and at a cost of $1,842,000; Indian lands to the amount of more than 18,500,000 acres have been ceded to the United States, and provision has been made for settling in the country west of the Mississippi the tribes which occupied this large extent of the public domain.”
(The payment amounted to 10¢ an acre.)

    ———————————-
“The immediate and only cause of the existing hostility of the Indians of OREGON is represented to have been the long delay of the United States in making to them some trifling compensation, in such articles as they wanted, for the country now occupied by our emigrants, which the Indians claimed and over which they formerly roamed.”

    ————————————————-
    John Tyler
First State of the Union Address
    Dec. 7, 1841
“The war with the Indian tribes on the peninsula of Florida has during the last summer and fall been prosecuted with untiring activity and zeal…Numbers have been captured, and still greater numbers have surrendered and have been transported to join their brethren on the lands elsewhere allotted to them by the Government.”

    ——————————————-
Fourth State of the Union Address
    Dec. 3, 1844
“The Executive has abated no effort in carrying into effect the well-established policy of the Government which contemplates a removal of all the tribes residing within the limits of the several States beyond those limits, and it is now enabled to congratulate the country at the prospect of an early consummation of this object.”

    ———————————–
    Abraham Lincoln
Third State of the Union Address
    Dec. 8, 1863
“The measures provided at your last session for the removal of certain Indian tribes have been carried into effect. Sundry treaties have been negotiated, which will in due time be submitted for the constitutional action of the Senate. They contain stipulations for extinguishing the possessory rights of the Indians to large and valuable tracts of lands.”

    —————————-
    Ulysses S. Grant
Second State of the Union Address
    Dec. 5, 1870
“I entertain the confident hope that the policy now pursued will in a few years bring all the Indians upon reservations…”

    ———————————-
Third State of the Union Address
    Dec. 4, 1871
“…by the law of April 10, 1869, many tribes of Indians have been induced to settle upon reservations.”
“Such a course might in time be the means of collecting most of the Indians now between the Missouri and the Pacific and south of the British possessions into one Territory or one State.

    ———————————————
Fifth State of the Union Address
    Dec.1, 1873
“The Indian Territory south of Kansas and west of Arkansas is sufficient in area and agricultural resources to support all the Indians east of the Rocky Mountains. In time, no doubt, all of them, except a few who may elect to make their homes among white people, will be collected there.”

  • Defining the Establishment Raccoons?

    Defining the Establishment Raccoons?
I don’t know who wrote this, but it is fantastic!

This is WHY Trump has such a following.

Many have asked me if I support the republican party?

Here is a letter someone sent to the RNC… You be the judge…

    Dear Representative,

From the time I was able to vote I voted republican. I am 80 and have a great deal of respect and influence with hundreds of senior ball players who also network with thousands of others around the country.

I received your questionnaire and request for money and strongly agree with every question as I have since Obama was elected. Unfortunately the one question that was missing is “What have the republicans done for the American people?” We gave you a majority in the house and senate and you never listened to us. Now you want our money.

You should be more concerned about our votes not our money. You are the establishment which means all you want is to save your jobs and line your pockets… Well guess what? “It’s not going to happen” You can shake in your boots when I tell you our movement is for TRUMP and he hasn’t asked for a dime.

You might think we are fools because you feel Trump is on a self destruct course but look beyond Washington and listen to the masses. Nobody has achieved what he has, especially in a state of New York.

If you really want to know how the majority of people feel? And this applies to both democrats and republicans, read below, it says it all.

    Sincerely,

You’ve been on vacation for two weeks, you come home, and your basement is infested with raccoons. Hundreds of rabid, messy, mean raccoons have overtaken your basement. You want them gone immediately… You call the city, 4 different exterminators but nobody could handle the job… But there is this one guy and he guarantees you to get rid of them, so you hire him. You don’t care if the guy smells, you don’t care if the guy swears, you don’t care if he’s an alcoholic, you don’t care how many times he’s been married, you don’t care if he voted for Obama, you don’t care if he has plumber’s crack…you simply want those raccoons gone! You want your problem fixed! He’s the guy. He’s the best. Period

Here’s why we want Trump, yes he’s a bit of an ass, yes he’s an egomaniac, but we don’t care. The country is a mess because politicians suck, the Republican Party is two-faced & gutless, and illegals are everywhere. We want it all fixed! We don’t care that Trump is crude, we don’t care that he insults people, we don’t care that he had been friendly with Hillary, we don’t care that he has changed positions, we don’t care that he’s been married 3 times, we don’t care that he fights with Megan Kelly and Rosie O’Donnell, we don’t care that he doesn’t know the name of some Muslin terrorist. This country is weak, bankrupt, our enemies are making fun of us, we are being invaded by illegal’s, we are becoming a nation of victims where every Tom, Ricardo and Hasid is a special group with special rights to a point where we don’t even recognize the country we were born and raised in; “AND WE JUST WANT IT FIXED” and Trump is the only guy who seems to understand what the people want. We’re sick of politicians, sick of the Democratic Party, Republican Party, and sick of illegals. We just want this thing fixed. Trump may not be a saint, but doesn’t have lobbyist money holding him, he doesn’t have political correctness restraining him, all you know is that he has been very successful, a good negotiator, he has built a lot of things, and he’s also not a politician, he’s not a cowardly politician. And he says he’ll fix it. And we believe him because he is too much of an egotist to be proven wrong or looked at and called a liar.

Also we don’t care if the guy has bad hair.

We just want those raccoons gone.

    Out of your house.

    NOW.

You are welcome to pass this on.

THE MASSIVE PROBLEM, ACCESS DENIED TO ALL,  STARTED on Nov 17, 2015, as reported, by spokeswoman for the park, the Olympic National Park Barb Maynes said over the weekend…… “Other areas in the [Elwha] valley have seen damage — extensive damage,” “Park staff is still assessing the damages,” Maynes said…

NOV 17, 2015 MAYNES SAID THERE IS NO ESTABLISHED TIMELINE YET FOR REPAIRS OR REOPENING DAMAGED ELWHA ROADS AND CAMPGROUNDS.

AND, NOV 17, 2015 OLYMPIC NATIONAL PARK SUPERINTENDENT SARAH CREACHBAUM SAID, WELL? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
